Sadly Hayes Leisure are closing at the end of January, we have used them for over thirteen years and have always been pleased with their service. Just before Christmas we had a habitation service and it was pointed out to us that one of our roof lights was cracked, unfortunately they were unable to book it in for replacement, Jez their technician approached me and offered to replace it in the New Year.
He came today withe the new Sietz roof light and did an excellent job of replacing it. He has worked at Hayes for over twenty years so is well experienced working on motorhomes. He asked if i could recommend his services to others. He lives in Oldbury near Birmigham and would be willing to travel up to fifty miles.
His name is Jez Spencer tel. no. 07436 016067.
I am in no way connected to him apart from being a satisfied customer.

Funny you should say that I’m booked in with Dave Newell towards the end of the month for a damp check and would have to say he comes across as a very nice guy and I’m looking forward to meeting him

So sad to hear that Hayes are closing.

I bought my second Moho from Hayes in 1992 and my current one in 2018.

Always a pleasure to deal with them if anything went wrong after purchase.

BTW, my son AdamH will soon be qualified to do habitation checks. He is already a qualified electrician and is brilliant at fault-finding! We are based in Shropshire.

I note Adams skills. How far is he willing to travel? I am in Stourbridge.

Noted for future reference, Hayes were always a pleasure to deal with but time moves on.
 
Stourbridge really isn't far from Oldbury straight over the Wolverhampton Road, up Throne Road. hang a right through Blackheath and follow your nose to Lye then just carry on. Or, go via Dudley depending on where in Oldbury you happen to start. I grew up in West Bromwich, virtually within spitting distance of Oldbury.

Hi Sedge, Thanks for replying I khow Oldbury well and had alreadymade a note of Jez Spencer. My question re travel to Stourbridge was for Adam based in Shropshire mentioned in one of the responses. Tim
 
Hello all. I bought a new MH collected from Hayes Oct last (2022) and do not know what or who to contact about have checks and for any warranty issues. No new dealers are opening in the area.
Anyone got any advice please.

Hi Janine
Whereabouts is Adam based? We have an Adria PVC which gets its second habitation check from the supplying dealer this month but after that we will be looking for somebody competent more local to us. When not travelling I keep the motorvan at Salop Leisure near Shrewsbury and we live at Cleobury Mortimer

We are close to Morans and nearly bought a PVC there but lack of availability took us elsewhere and I haven't been impressed by the support and service from the supplying dealer

Adam is in Bridgnorth and will have a 30 mile radius.
 
That’s helpful thanks. I know Bridgnorth well and I worked there for many years. It is only 20 minutes from our home and a similar distance from where we store our motorvan
