The information head on the Ducato is great, apple play etc all work seamlessly, however, although the unit has plenty of volume it has little 'punch' especially when bouncing along our potholed roads. I was looking at a pair of round powerful speakers that could be linked together and fit neatly one in each door eg MINIRIG 3; realise most wont see this as a problem, however, wondering if anyone else is using anything to supplement or replace the Ducato speakers on the move? I have a number of Anker speakers which are great, just not a nice fit for the door cubby holes.

I upgraded the speakers in the doors with a brand name speaker of the same size. And put a load of sound insulation in there while I was at it. Reduced the road noise and made the sound much better.

That's what I will do, as soon as I read it I thought 'of course'!

I had a new head unit fitted a few months back and had new door speakers fitted at the same time. The speakers in the dash itself were left standard.
Sound is much better now with a bit of bass punch which the previous system was sorely lacking.

I got speakers with separate tweeters to replace the ones in the A pillars. Required a dab of epoxy to stick their frames in place.

For the speakers in the doors, I think you need adapter rings to go from the odd Fiat size to standard. They only cost a few quid.
