Greetings Funsters.
We have an Autosleeper Broadway ek, unfortunately we find that the socket (sunk & fixed to the floor in between the driver & passenger seats) for the supplied small table is not in a great position.
I have been looking at a Fiamma tripod pro (?) foldable base.
However I can’t see how to work out if it is suitable for us, the table poles illustrated show plastic fittings on the ends.
Your thoughts & info will be gratefully received.

having another additional socket installed in a more suitable position might be an option worth considering, then you can have a socket (double with usb's?) where you want it!

The Fiamma tripods have quite a large base and in our PVC there is not enough room on the floor for one to be placed inside. We also have the older smaller type and not the newer ones.

I found this - we only have 40 cm between our seats and not the luxury of 70 cm

The Fiamma Tripod Pro is lightweight, robust and stable to provide a solid and stable base for yor table and folds up when not in use for easy storage. It has an overall diameter of 70cm and folds up to 41cm x 8cm when not in use.

We used to have the same Broadway as you. Same problem. For some reason that escapes me we already had a folding tripod base. We couldn’t use the existing table leg because it was too long and made the table too high. So we bought another leg on line, of the right length. Obviously because we had the tripod first we could measure the length for the leg.

We use a fiamma tripod as replacement for our rapido huge heavey table. Have two legs different lengths for inside / outside use. Easy to store and use.

the plastic and metal ends are the same size I believe. Maybe borrow a tripod first to see if it will work for you inside the van. Always handy to have as allows the indoor table to be used outside. I have a couple, and older aluminium one and a plastic one. If you were local you could have popped over and borrowed one from me

Just thought, order one from Amazon. If it doesn't work, return for a refund

I bought the Fiamma tripod with the pole that has plastic ends..

The tripod is well made but the plastic ends on the pole don't fit snuggly into the tripod.. it always felt shaky.. so bought a chromed steel pole and that works fine.. .

Good points, you can use it outside, it's compact and easy to store... BUT .. the tripod base is quite large and found it difficult to get a good position in the van... so no longer used..

Have since fitted this and it works very well

We use a tripod stand in the Burstner after taking out the big table.
I found the Fiamma metal pole with the plastic ends far to high to use so just bought a chrome tube with same diameter and cut to size.

no sure how that worked as the tubes have tapered ends to fit the taper in the socket..

better to buy the correct length of pole..
