Hi, its me again! I would like to know what is a cost effective Sat Nav for my Burstner, which will let me input vehicle sizes etc?

The xgody type Chinese ones( or equivalent) on eBay ,around £50 to £60. Full maps available .can input vehicle types and dimensions, add your own poi's. 7 " screens. Really good value for money and better than most top brands

First of all, don't trust em 100%!

I have an oldish iPad (Air 2), GPS receiver (Garmin Glo) bluetoothed to it and subscribe to CoPilot. It has taken me on one merry dance in the first year.

Best of luck.

Got a range of voices on mine from Ozzy Osbourne to voices that are calm and clear. Male / female. Plus a sunshade  ,the newer ones apparently have better screens that you can read in bright light. (y)

Subscribers  do not see these advertisements

I use Co-Pilot Caravan version on my phone and quite happy with it, I say quite as stated above you can never trust them 100% and we have also been lead astray or it has tried anyway.

It's certainly easier to use and set up than the built in Alpine head unit that we also have and use simultaneously, the fights can be interesting sometimes as they certainly don't always agree.

I used Sygic and a big Android tablet, but switched to TomTom as Sygic's routes and restrictions are sometimes inaccurate or bizarre.

Prepare the routes on TomTom's web app mydrive.tomtom.com, which allows vehicle dimensions to be input under the Route tab, then use the route on their Android app MyDrive.

I paid around £10 for an annual account, and TomTom's routing has so far been accurate and sensible.
