Does anyone know if the motorhome parking area, behind the Leisure Centre, is still there?

There are a number of motorhome bays at the Riverside Car Park which I think is where you mean.
They are on pay and display and I think £22 per 24 hours. There were vans parked in there last time we passed.
Christmas markets in town 7/8th Dec and 14/15 Dec.

Thanks.

We are intending to visit the Christmas Market but not stay in the town, just park up.
Still listed on there website.
Thanks.

Good information there!👍

We've been there in the RV so plenty of room for the biggest vans.
You can use facilities in the sports centre while it's open.

You can park in the Sports Club car park for £14.20 for 24 hours. It was quite busy when we arrived last Saturday evening but noticed that most vans had gone by midday Sunday so plan your arrival time.

Thanks, but not intending to stay the night, just visit during the day.

I believe from memory that it's free for blue badge owners. Happy to be corrected though.

Yes it is, we stayed there twice in June last year, The high street is a little steep for manual wheelchairs but ok for electric chairs/ handbikes .......
