Looking to replace my old Frankia so was getting quotes on a replacement, so far Adrian Flux are the cheapest at £441 with Comfort next at £732 but a crazy £1700 excess. Sadly LV couldn’t quote, will be contacting NFU tomorrow who I have been with for the last 2 years. Other quotes were around the £1800 mark. 🙀

Never ever used NFU on any on my vehicles yet they regularly come out on top in surveys. They always quote extremely high.

But beware if you want to fit solar panels with NFU!

Check your windscreen cover, especially with A Flux

Going on my latest experience, check what and for how long you are covered for when driving in EU if you intend driving in the EU !!

Bit of a strange one but I phoned LV again yesterday and was given a quote, all he asked for was the make and model plus the registration number, never asked the value or if it had any security fitted. I was given a price plus add on option prices. It's the best quote so far.

I’ve just decided to go with LV. I had the same discussion with the all they wanted was registration, make and model. Core price plus add-ons. Cost 304 for a 2023 Burstner Eliseo. It’s advertised as a Motorhome policy and they treat them very differently to van insurance. Comes with 180 day EU cover as well. Even though it’s not needed we are fitting an alarm from VANBITZ next week

Thanks for that, I thought I had misdialed and got someone that was at the windup.

I use them I paid £246 last Sept with no breakdown that's on a 40k van

Just got a quote for a 2-vehicle policy (Moho and car) from LV - £694
My separate policy renewals together only comes to £550.
Might as well just leave it like that.
