Hi Guys,
I am considering ripping out my Hob/Oven and replacing with HOB and undercounter FREEZER.
My Fridge is fine but need more Freezer space.

Any thoughts?

My only thought was, what a bloody good idea.
Are you thinking of a 3 way freezer or just a 230v job?

Yo Bubba,
I am considering all the options here.
1. We rip the whole cooker out and go Air Fryer / Freezer
2. Hob with glass top like we have - Freezer underneath.

The Grill is 'OK' but the oven is rubbish so lot of space doing nothing.
I did a lot of research yesterday to try and find freezer 3 way / Volts only etc etc but not a lot of success. It would have help if I git the exact dimensions...lol
I'll be doing that today.

Juat wondered if anyone else had done this on the Forum?

All pretty generic. Same Chinese factory.

Best to get one with thermostat on/off inside for ease of turning off.

Thanks EURO.
I did see that one but it is a bit small.
Now done my measurements and I reckon I can get something in that's 75cm odd high.
The cavity will be 84cm high but I need to allow for height of Hob we choose.
I'll also need to re-route the Gas pipe but shouln;t be issue.

Looks like noone has done this before, but hope someone has for some tips.

We use a Dometic CDF 46 which is a portable fridge/freezer. Can be used as either but not both at the same time. Cools down as low as -10°C. Runs off 12v or 240v.

You will struggle to find anything in-between the size I have fitted and those around 85cm high. A lot are generic models made in china and branded

fridgemaster
cookology
Electra
Smeg
Candy

Mostly F-Rated

I will look to see if there are any smaller ones for your project.
