Lots of views on this subject on here...
I would say no.. IMV can cause more damage than not however some will disagree, but going by the many past posts on subject the concensus of opinion seems to be not cover.

Another vote for no cover. I have never stored my motorhome somewhere hot but a bit of shade might be a good idea. A cover will just block the ventilation.

I would agree in Uk but differrent weather in Turkey?
Would seal protection be a question in intence sunlight?
Good point.. however how would a cover directly on van body affect the seals... Could it compound the heat generated below cover.
As Pausim says a shaded area with ventilation as apposed to a cover may be more beneficial..

Could be but i hadn't the benefit of his words before posting mine. What would help the op would be info from members living in Spain or Portugal on this front, what is done there.

We are based in the Charente Maritime. Not as hot as Turkey but as much sunshine as the French Riviera. Nobody around here covers thier vehicle with a fitted cover but there is a busy market in fixed sun shelters. Our previous Ducato-based McLouis went matt on the south-facing side left in the open, even though we had a fitted Protec cover for the winter, and the UV also ruined the headlight lens that side. After 2 years our Pilote is doing better but protection for the tyres is advised. Any sort of cover will prevent roof-mounted solar panels working. Leaving it under trees is ok but cleaning off all the sticky gunk and debris afterwards is a pain.

Thank you all for your advice, I have been getting mixed opinion in the UK, and to hear from people who are in hot countries is invaluable.
