Planning a trip to Spain next December and think we may need an enclosed awning.
We have a thule 8000 cassette awning at moment but not front or sides.
Any advice on options preferably using existing shade, however Thule safari room is mega expensive and heavy to carry.
Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Regards Roy

You could pick up a drive away awning.

i have tried lots of different awnings over the years ( as many others have i am sure ) including a safari room. which was the worst thing i had ever bought IMHO. it was expensive heavy a pain to put up and take down and a complete nightmare in any real wind.
tried driveaway's but that did not suit us.

now, i have attached an awning running strip to the outside of our wind out awning and have an laege porch Air awning. dont have to buy one of the mega expensive ones, easy and quick to put up and take down. not too heavy as no poles involved.

If you are staying in one place for a week or too then you could use a simple attached awning, we use a Kampa caravan one as it’s cheaper than the Pro ones which are air ones.
We did buy a Fiamma safari room which we used last year which cost around £900, will probably try and sell it when we back.

agree with that we have a set and use them more than the porch awning, great bit of kit, dont know what they would be like for December in Spain.
