ours is a Quicksilver Aerodeck 3.4m with a Yam 15

looking to meet somewhere that we can launch the sibs and travel up river or down river to the sea

anyone with a sib interested?

But the question is, is this what a sib is??

Could it be soft inflatable boat - fits the letters and yam is a clue, I think

Sibs

Hello

The CCC site at Boroughbridge is alongside the river - I have seen people using the river but I think you need a licence or something. I can check with the site managers tomorrow if anyone wants any info.

It is also possible to fish from the site too. In very bad weather however, the site becomes part of the river.

ha ha sorry about that, yes a sib is an inflatable craft with a soft hull

here is a pic of my sib

There is a great site for this type of thing, next to Dudleys RVs in Oxfordshire. Standlake I think, nice site though, exp if you are into water sports. They also have a large rally field, so it could be a future venue for a meet.

I had one, a Yam, but sold it recently, it was gathering dust in the trailer :Embarrassed:
Took it all over France, Spain and Morocco and used it once, I found it difficult to find sites that were close enough to the water and could take an RV.

another pic of the sib.

some good ideas for sites, cheers
