Hi Folks

I’m interested in a 360d camera security system and thought I’d check in with ‘Fun to see what systems people have used and how good they are.

I know the Camos system is popular while you drive for a 360d view and by all accounts it’s excellent.

What I’m interested in isn’t for when I’m driving, but rather a security system for when I’m parked up … particularly at night.

So here are my requirements:
1. Full 360d view
2. Excellent daytime quality
3. Adequate nighttime quality
4. Recording would be a nice-to-have
5. Remote access is important (would need to have access to internet of course)
6. Prefer smaller discreet cameras

For nighttime preference not to have to install lighting all round.

Any ideas?

You've said the solution already, Camos. It isn't just for driving.

You have the capability to install it yourself, easily. It's components, most of us on here I suggest don't have the time nor patience, nor skills to do it. Bit like the stuff you do for us.

You can have a dec at ours in a month.

Does it allow remote access?
And how is the nighttime quality?

Does it allow remote access? - Yes with the right components, ask Neil at Trailer Vision, tell him I sent you, you know who I am.

And how is the nighttime quality? - good enough for us when we've used it.

I don't think those 360 cameras are good for security. They are great for manoeuvring. But the extreme wide angle lenses means there's very little detail in anything except very close to the camera directly ahead of the camera.
