What have others done for USB socket/port on their bike's ?

Optimate plug wired straight onto the battery via 5a fuse with an in-line cigar lighter socket and a USB adapter, you can remove it all when not needed with the Optimate plug.

I have a BC Bravo fly lead fitted & adapter, under the seat, but wondered if any of you had fitted any thing to the bar's, that didn't look like it had come out of a Christmas cracker:whistle:

Not a Bravo its a 3500

I have cigarette lighter sockets, one in the glove compartment and one in the top box and can use USB plug adaptor in either plus anything else I want. That's the beauty of a proper touring bike. (y)

Your just spoilt :D2

I have a 240v inverter on my GSXR. Got a 24" telly on top of screen and powers the beer fridge in the panniers :)

Missus is miffed that both panniers are full of beer.

Hmm, any ideas to help her ?

Now you're just being silly. 24" tv is simply not practical, it will restrict the top speed to warp factor 2 and block your vision of the speed cameras. The panniers would also be better employed as bass boxes for the sound system.

Kids eh

fitted any thing to the bar's,

Yes, I have a double USB bar mounted socket. Allegedly waterproof 'till you actually use it. Sorry can't remember the ebay seller but it was pretty cheap.

I think it's this one............

Which app is that?

It's the (really) old MCN ride logger app. It was cutting edge back then, definitely not worth £4.99 in today's app market

There are probably 101 newer and better apps for measuring G-force these days though (y)

On my GS I have a two USB adapter plugged into the DIN socket.
