Motolug Trailers..

Been around for a long time in the motorcycle world - got a good reputation and very strong secondhand value. If it is for a single bike buy the one that can be converted to two bike - it will hold its value much better.

Ninjabob thanks for the info. I was thinking the one that can be converted to two was a good idea.. Think this will be ideal for towing around my ST1050, though plenty of time to look around still as i wont need to tow it until spring 2018.. :) fair weather biker and all that :)

The 10inch wheel upgrade is probably worth considering. Goes in the boot of a car and popular with the track day boys.

I have one and really like it. I did have the 10inch wheel upgrade. It's easy to use and very easy to store. You are not meant to tow with it empty so if you are going to collect a bike it goes in the boot on the way there and you assemble it and load bike for the return journey. After a few tries it takes between 5 and 10 mins to assemble.

have you looked at the ro ro trailer from msw trailers it's ground loading which has to be safer especialy for a short guy like myself.see it on you tube it's about the same price

I had a MotoLug behind the van with a B King which is one lump of a bike and it was fantastic. Easy load and un-load and great for storage when not in use.
When I came to sell it 2 years later got most of my money back as there is a great following for them

So a follow on question what are campsites like when you turn up with this sort of trailer on the back of your 7.5m MH? do they charge more, not like it etc?

Camping in the Forest, very unfairly, charge £5 per night extra for a trailer over 1.2m in length.

why should they charge at all if it's on your own pitch and not using any extra space,it's not fair as you said.

Its a shame they don't do a small car version as I'm sure it would prove extremely popular!
