The battery on my Triumph Sprint 1050 died on Monday, it was a Motobatt. I had fitted it a good while ago so decided on better the devil you know therefore ordered a like for like replacement. The new battery came today and I fitted it so we are good to go for Silverstone for the weekend.
I suspect I am like many others of my generation and when I renew any bits on my vehicles I keep the reciepts with the service book. I printed the reciept for the new battery and put it with the service book and to my great surprise I found that the old battery was 9 years old, not bad for a motorcycle battery. It had been on an Oxford battery mate when in the garage as the alarm on the bike does discharge the battery. Also including postage the new battery was only £10 more than the old one. I have to say I am more than pleased to reccommend the above.
