MOT 7.5t Motor Caravan? Erm...

It's nothing to do with body type i.e motorcaravan. It's a weight thing, done some reading seems to be pretty straight forward. They just do the weights and rewrite the plate.
yes but why would they give a monkeys about the weight unless you specifically said it had a new body... TMI dude TMI....

There's absolutely nothing dodgy about that..
If you are worried that you have "overbuilt" the thing then just take it to a public weighbridge no one needs to know any more than that.

I'm not worried I've over built it lol, I want the plate to be correct with the right axle weights. 100% legit.

Plus if I was in an accident and someone died and it came out I'd changed the body and not taken the correct steps.... I'd go to jail.

Had my last RV MOTd at LG Perfect at GtYarmouth .

You are getting yourself into a confused state .
Is your vehicle listed as a motorcaravan in the V5 ?
Is it over 3500kg ?
If yes to both it is then tested as a moho as class 4 test . It will be taxation class PHGV . This does not mean it has a hgv test . The vin plate (metal or sticker) will have gross weight and axle weights , these have no relevance to the test , or whether you have modded the body , as they are max allowable weights . which you should be under , but that is a different matter to test . (You should not have a ministry plate (VTG 6) , orange plastic laminated ) as they are only for Goods vehicles .)
You only need to book a class 4 test , done by a normal test station , not a ATF which is with a DVSA examiner and only applicable to HGV , HGV trailers and Busses .
You only need to mention size to find out if they can fit it in to their test bay .
My RV was 11.9 ton and 39ft long and 2.55 wide. but was just taken to a Local council test centre for car MOT , but on the big rollers , and lift .

Yeah ive had a phone call today to confirm everything you've just said. It does have a ministry plate in it but is from before it was changed to a MH. So I'm all good. 29th of Nov is the date ?

You best take that out as it shouldn't be displaying it , and will prevent any more confusion at any point in the future MANGOFORTH
