MFG's website shows a lot of their current locations sell LPG. (go to 'Station finder' then click LPG under the 'Services' tab. I suspect they will continue with LPG where the infrastructure is already in place.

Could this effect our LPG fill ups?

In the long term, yes.
They will use the space for EV's

There are now no new LPG cars cars sold in the UK, the LPG Dacia Duster was dropped in 2022.

However people still need LPG, motorhomes, boats, caravans, roof builders etc. as well as LPG powered vehicles like American RV's Taxi Fleets, daries, etc.
So whilst the network in the UK will get smaller, you will still be able to get LPG somewhere, even if it's a marina or at the back of an industrial estate.

I also think there must be locations with lots of boats and campers, such as Cornwall, where the locals are missing a trick by not installing an LPG outlet.

I have 4 LPG stations around me in all directions within 15-20 miles. Sometimes you just have to be a bit clever. Also, the amount of LPG used is actually quite small, a full bottle goes on and on and on. Even in the depths of winter and running the heating constantly, it's 2-3 weeks of use I get.
Be clever.
For clarity
Kidsgrove
Northwich
Morrisons Crewe
Keele services.

where there's a gap in the market, things will appear. Kidsgrove and Northwich private small companies. cheaper than the supermarket and selling it by the bucket load, if you could get a bucket load in to a bucket but you get my drift.

Yes I've got 2 in my area 1 being Morrisons. But never had a problem filling up over the last 4 year. Just have to be clever as you say😃

Yes I guess they will swap out the lpg pump and put electric chargers in place, that should be enough space for 1 and a half EV cars.
They can’t put a charger where the pump is, only where the tank is and they’re not that big, so I can’t really see the value in swapping out!

The 'life' of a commercial LPG tank is 20 years.
So when they come to the end of their life, they will be replaced with a flower bed.

It's the maintenance and regulation fees that will kill them off.
The last thing the UK government wants are loads of vehicles running on LPG, as it's far harder to tax.

However if a had a house with its own LPG tank and an LPG powered RV or horse box I'd be looking at the cost of getting a hose fitted if you paid the fitter is cash.
As the tax on LPG for domestic use is different to the tax on LPG for transport use.

Mfg have previously said they will stop LPG sales by 2024

I'm wondering if after the sell off MFG will continue to accept Morrisons gift vouchers in payment for fuel 🤔

Currently i'm able to save 5% buying fuel that way as I can buy the vouchers via my works discount website.

I read something recently, can’t remember where, about bio lpg. So the development of modified lpg seems to suggest it will be around for a bit. Just needs to be available for us.

Marquis motorhomes (owned by Autosleepers) with 12 branches across England are installing LPG pumps at some branches (maybe all). This is some comfort if you happen to live close to one of them. Pat on the back to them. Maybe the 2 big clubs should take note. After all they are supposed to put members first.
