Just been informed by insurance company (Caravan Guard) that they do not cover me if I travel to Morocco. I am led to believe that you can obtain insurance at the docks before sailing. If this is correct and any member who has taken out the insurance , could you let me know how much it costs.?

I’ve seen a figure around €250 for a month but perhaps someone who’s there currently can provide a more accurate figure.

There is a current thread running about Morocco, I’m sure that it’ll answer many of the questions that you’re likely to have; have you visited it?

We were insured with lv extra £73 for 2.5 months fully comp.
You can buy insurance at the border in morocco not in Spain . I believe its around 200 to 250 euros for 3 months, 3rd party. but best check with those that have bought at the border

There are two UK companies that cover Morocco Fully comp, LV or Saga. Yes you can buy insurance at the border but its third party only.

Your current company may be willing to refund any unused months of your premium as long as you havent made any claims in that year.
