Might think about that @Robert Clark as will be in France beginning of September.. RoyWe're planning to go to Morocco for a month in 2017 too, but not until September. Is anyone else likely to be there then?
Will be watching this thread with interest.
Ditto. After 4 consecutive years doing Maroc we are having a year off too. As expected our house extension/remodelling is running late so we wont be able to get away straight after New Year. We will leave in April amd plan to go down to Croatia and back up through Eastern Europe and along the Baltic.Done last 3 years and had a great time. Having a break from North Africa this year and doing winter in South Africa instead. (but not in the van )
Spending in the south what we have saved in the north!
Back to maroc 2018.
Hoping to be at train 12 jan going to gib 1st will stay a few days hope to meet a fellow traveler or (3) to go to morroco
We're hoping to cross into Morocco around 15th JanuaryWe are hoping to go to Morocco around the first week in January. Never been to Morocco in the motorhome before so would love to meet up with anyone planning to go around the same time.
Thanks, think we will go for it. hope to cross over some time mid Jan.You can buy third-party insurance at the border as you enter Morocco (*) - one of our group had to last time. Think it was quite expensive (around €135 if I remember correctly) but they were staying for 3 months or longer and it obviously varies for how long. Haven't heard of anybody who has actually had to use it so cannot comment on it's "value" but it should keep you legal.
* At Tangier-Med it's in a building just past all the Bureaux de Change after the Customs/Immigration checks.
Anyone traveling to Morocco on about 15th to 17th of Jan.We would love to tag along for a bit to learn the ropes as never been before and then probably strikeout on our own. To tell you a bit about ourselves we have been motorhoming since 2010 and much prefer wild/freecamping and aires to campsites visiting most European countries getting as far as Croatia normally carry a scooter in the garage, but wont be this trip. Having spent the last three winters in and around Spain and having talked to returning funsters at a wild camp we where sold on the idea.We are in our sixties, travel in a lhd Carado with our springer spaniel. Can anyone help. Ted & Trish
