So my 2003 Swift kontiki 665p still doesn’t have a working step and now has another problem!
I’ve been trying to fix the step, but gave up when I found the wiring to the switch is completely different to the wiring to the step. I’ve changed both relays under the bonnet and now have a ‘System disabled, engine running’ message when the engine isn’t running! I found that I can get it working by turning the fridge on, at which point the control panel works as normal. It cuts out again if I switch off the fridge and close the door, most strange. I plugged a heater into the 240v socket and the whole lot shutoff, 12v and 240v. I turned fridge off and on and it returned to normal.
I’ve had some engine work done - injectors out and serviced, not by me , so maybe a wire has come adrift.

Anybody had similar?
