Help! Trying to google the Mont Blanc Tunnel rules about emissions as I would like to go through on Saturday. I am in a 7.5 tonne 1989 Bedford correctly registered with DVLA as a camper van / Private HGV. I am obviously pre Euro 0 due to age and therefore not allowed as a truck. I think. But am I allowed as a camper van? Currently parked up south of Geneva and debating my options.

It’s not emissions you need to worry about it’s the long queue behind whilst your doing 15 MPH along the inclines 😝😝😝😝😝😈😈

Looks like it’s a no, I’ve looked on various websites and get the following:

- for vehicles that have an overall MAM exceeding 3.5 tons classified Euro 0, Euro 1 and Euro 2 (i.e. vehicles registered before October 1st, 2001) 🤔

Thank you all, the more I read the more I think I won't get away with it so planning to head south and add another 60/70 miles to my journey! Shame as I have never been through the tunnel and was rather looking forward to that.

From a post the other day you might have saved a fortune, think they were charged €250 but they did have three axles

Enjoy the drive round , tunnels are not very interesting to drive through IMO 👍

You won’t be missing anything. Long, repetitive, boring….in my view.

I think you'll find it closed on Sept 4th

Mont Blanc tunnel is going to be closed for traffic for 15 weeks, from 17:00 on 4 September 2023 to 22:00 on 18 December 2023.
