Van under 3500kg

Thanks

Official site, look like you are class 2
Yes my concern it’s that been euro 3 (van register 2005 diesel under 3500) we are actually not allowed ?

As I believe it’s cat euro 3

Reading on various sites they saying minimum euro 4 ?

Not the best line of reason 😞.
Makes for an interesting moral fibre 🫣.
If it isn’t clear on their rules and regulations then the question is valid. How would they know your emissions group? I am assuming they don’t have that data on every vehicle on the planet.

If it is clear, and they can check, and someone tried to wing it then that would be a lack of moral fibre.

Oh, to be so perfect.😠

You have no knowledge of where my moral compass points.

Under rules and regulations, Actions for the Environment, scroll down and there is a chart

Fréjus Tunnel

Alternative routes to the Mont-Blanc Tunnel

Around 160 km south of the Mont-Blanc Tunnel, the Fréjus Tunnel connects Modane in France to Bardonecchia in Italy, which is a good alternative route for heavy goods vehicles. A one-way trip for cars costs €54.10 and a return €67.50.20 Dec 2024

If it is so well buried how is Capt Normal to know?

I still think it is only trucks, as in goods transportation.

The latest rulings prohibit the transit of:
  • goods transportation vehicles of over 3.5 t, classified Euro 3, in effect since 1 September 2019,
  • goods transportation vehicles of over 3.5 t, classified Euro 4, in effect since 1 July 2020.

So if I’m under 3.5t I should be ok?

Went through in summer of 23 with my 1997 4.5 tonne diesel hymer no questions asked. Loads of other camper vans just as big and old went through in front of us as well.
