Any one had mold on their blinds in the motor home and what did they use to clean it off

Ray, we’ve used Elbow Grease to clean all our ‘suedette’ upholstery and it worked a treat.

Not sure if it would work on mould, but it’s worth a try. You can buy it from most cheap shops.

Depends what the blinds are made of.

The best thing to remove mold is the watered down bleach spray that you can get to clean showers.
It works on windows and paintwork as well, but you may need to repaint.

On a plastic blind, I'd guess kitchen towel soaked with a very mild water/bleach solution would work, and hopefully not do any damage.

Something like stain remover may work on cloth blinds, if you then soak in water afterwards.

On paper blinds, I think only replacement.

Mold is normally caused by damp air and lack for draft and fresh air.
I'd get into the habit of leaving a roof vent cracked open or leave a de-humidifier running.

I'd also not leave blinds down, as they then form a barrier between the cold air of the window and the warmer air of the van

A mild fungicide would be better than risking bleach on coloured blinds

not specifically for blinds but SWMBO uses a dilute solution of oil of cloves. Good for cotton.

Commercial products contain bleach and without good washing/ dilution will attack many materials.

Black mold remover available from any supermarket.
We had black mold on the ceiling above the shower at home.
One application (spray) and wash off with clean water ...job done
