Has anyone used ID Mobile? I have researched the best SIM only deals for use in the UK and Europe and ID Mobile are by far the best.
Last year I bought a SIM in Spain with 100gb but it cost 40 Euros and meant I couldn't receive any calls or txt on my usual number.
ID have a roam like home policy allowing you to use all your data and allowances in Europe. I can get unlimited data, calls and txts for £16 per month on a 24 month contract (£8 for the first 3 months). They also do a 12 month contract for £12 per month 100gb and any unused data rolls over.
Sounds like the answer to roaming.

Hubby has ID mobile. On our trips to Euroland, we find that his phone often has a better signal (cheap motorola) with the ID sim than my iphone with EE.
The roll over of unused data on his £5 month contract is useful.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear!

Are you not able to put 2 Sims in your phone (dual SIM) Most modern phones are dual SIM.

You can then set the Spanish SIM as default for data (and use it for outgoing calls) but still use your own home SIM for incoming calls/texts

I think you will find they have a fair usage policy of 12GB I think? The only Uk sim you can use all your data in the eu without any limit is poppit mobile at the moment. Lots of threads on this!

No, my last I could but only single SIM on this one. Plus the Spanish SIM cost more.

The fair usage policy appears to vary according to how long you're away for and what your data allowance is on your contract.

Yes, it asks you email proof of your UK residency in the form of a bill with address, if you are away for a number of months and they think you might be living there.
