Does anyone on the forum have a MLT Crossover for the new upgraded model, its the 24/25 edition?

I am thinking of getting one but I am reading a lot of bad stories and cancelled orders due to various issues, water ingress on the batteries, water tank not holding due to poor installation as two examples. Hymer are recalling all vehicles to rectify the issues via the dealership. Be great to get some feedback, good and the bad.

I've got a 2018, MLT 570, so can't really comment on the specifics of the 2024 version.
But there not a lot of difference between the 2016 to 2024 MLT's (I've not seen the 2025 version)

So ask away on the general questions

From what I can work out the new model is on a 24 plate and then 25, I can't tell you when the crossover from the old model 570 to the new model 570 took place. I think the older model was last delivered in August this year, then deliveries onto the new model, hence 24/25 plate. No real general questions, just seems to be a bit of negativity around this newer version and I was wondering if any members on here had the new model and if they are experincing any issues or not.

I've got a 24 plate MLT 580 which is the newer model and interior layout. It's very similar to the new MLt 570 Crossover, The 580 interior is pretty much identical apart from longer beds, a different shower arrangement and a bigger garage. I think the 580 is about 24cm longer than the 570 but it's the same chassis and wheelbase.

My 580 is very well specced so it's very close to a 570 Crossover. Looking at the Configurator the only options I don't have are;
  • 44" LED Light bar above cab
  • Tool set (folding spade, axe) in rear storage compartment
  • Fancy Crossover Graphics.

I've got a thread running here ... Modding the Hymer ML-t 580 4x4

I do have an outstanding recall for a new seal on the front skylight and a new seal for the battery compartment. Neither of which have failed and my suppling dealer ( in Germany ) says that neither are critical. I don't have any leaks despite the recent torrential rain.

Build quality is good but a bit careless in places, easy fixes and I was expecting to have to do somethings as I've owned two Hymers previously ....

The drive is really good, the 190 bhp motor and permeant all wheel drive is a great combo. It's averaging 26mpg atm but I've only got 2000 miles on it.

If you are anywhere near Cheshire you are welcome to come and have a detailed look at mine.

Cheers for the information. I will jump onto your thread.

Thats very kind of you, thanks for the invite. I am only back in the UK a few months, down in the New Forest. Looks like a 3 hour plus drive up to yours, but will let you know when I am in your area.
