mkv to mp4/avi/mpeg converter

Looking for a good simple programme to download which will convert mkv (matroska) files to mp4, avi or mpeg.

Tried one, works ok, but.....it leaves their logo bang in the middle of the damn movie!

Not so good after all!
Just downloaded it to try and all it gives is a 1 minute allowance on the freebie version!!

Tried the Leawo one.
Converts ok but the catch is you have to buy the 'pro' version to access more settings. Looks like i'll have to search Demonoid!
