Hi Funsters,
Just arrived back home after travelling a great distance of 20 miles, and would like to say what a great weekend we have had. Our thanks go to our mates Andy & Shirl and also to Pam & Nigel for all the help they gave us both providing the event tents and assisting the boys with the bacon butties this morning (Where nigel keeps all the bits and bobs he kept bringing out to help things run smoothly Ill never know). Our thanks also go to the ladies who kindly made cakes for the afternoon tea, Dinah (Mrs Hilldweller) & Barbara (Mrs Dellwood) and Leanne who also brought cakes. Andy & Shirl who provided the bacon for this mornings bacon buttie fest.
A big thank you to all you funsters who this morning after we heard the news that our troops had finally come home from Iraq donated money for the butties to the charity
HELP THE HEROS, and raised the princely sum of £108.0. MANY THANKS TO YOU ALL.
The sale of ladies shoes and handbags was also very successful , as was the Jamie Oliver cookware.
Both Mick and myself would like to say what a pleasure it was to host the meet and have such lovely and well behaved dogs and of course FUNSTERS.
We will look into doing this again next year around the same time and hope to see all of you again :thumb::yeah:
