OK on all other threads. Has Jim closed the topic - no advice about that?

Yes, that's what happens when a thread gets locked.

I think only moderators can add to the thread at that point.

Oh bugger, I have no interest in getting an Irish passport, but now I'm going to have to go to that post to see who's on the naughty step !

Could well be!

This forum seems to be pretty good at self moderating so I haven't really noticed if anyone else has 'powers' :D

I know from my time as a moderator on another forum that uses the same software (XenForo)

Thanks, but that is just above OP. I was on page 3.

Jim usually posts when he is closing a topic. So I will post what I was going to post:-

The requirement to register if one has been in any one country for more than 90 days is not just for Non-EU Citizens, it applies to EU Citizens also. I think very few people do, unless they are buying or renting a house.

I had not registered here in Poland before I was applying for Residency during Brexit and was threatened with a Zl 100 (£20) fine. I never heard any more.

Maybe start a crowdfunding so you’ll have the money available to pay the fine😜
