Hymer
I've just bought a superb used Hymer B444, couldn't be happier with it - but a bit has dropped off... It was a sort of rain guard bit of beading, stuck on above the hab door and light. I've no idea what the 'proper' part name might be but here's a photo of it before it went AWOL (sorry it's only a small part of the photo but I didn't think to take a picture of it from up close):

Here's my question - does anyone know what it's called and where I can get a replacement? Thanks in advance.

I don't know what it's called but Darren in the parts department at Brownhills will know as he's v knowledgeable about Hymer parts. It won't be cheap if it is Hymer specific.
Edit
Phil beat me to it. Good news if it's not a Hymer part

Thanks both, I'll get onto Darren Brownhills tomorrow.

if you buy via a dealer, expect a large mark up on the ebay/amazon retail price sometime 500% and more. As for fixing on a replacement, thoroughly clean the area of all dirt and wax finishes before sticking the new part on. Any wax will leave a poor adhesion and it will fall off in time

On our Hymer B680 that part is a light, quite expensive

It helps if you send him a picture of the attached Hymer plate. The one that shows the weights and Serial No of your vehicle.

Thanks Al, our light is still there - the thing over it has gone... probably still quite expensive though.

Google Fiamma drip, it’s abut £16 can be cut and bent to shape, peel off back and stick in place
That's the best bet as the awning itself will give protection to the light so one that sticks out like the original did isn't necessary. Another bonus is that the excess can be stuck over the front sliding window on that side as the rain will run off the roof and into it (hubby gets a soggy arm when he forgets!).

just to avoid that i have used this stuff either side of our wind out to take the water away from dribbling back under the awning. works well. (y)

If you want a genuine Hymer one they are about 70 quid, they are only fixed with adhesive tape and they do sometimes come off.

Thanks Lenny - that's one pricey replacement!
