Has anyone used MirrorShield mirror protectors?
I have a MAN based van, so MirrorGuard and Milenco aren't an option.

Struggling to find any information on Mirrorshield that hasn't been put out by the manufacturer.
They're not cheap! but from the photos I've seen, the visible edge looks a bit naff.

I put a pair on MAN conversion , the edges are really naff and what I didn’t realise when I ordered they have to be pop riveted on as well , they also seem to mark easily . I will try and put some pics on , when I’m home on Monday .

Thanks. ohh, I got that the edges looked naff from their photos, didn't know about the riveting. I'll give them a miss then. There don't seem to be many options for a MAN/VW Crafter van

I couldn’t find any other solutions , as the mirror shield seems to be sold by various companies but not always called mirror shield . Loads in use on DPD etc vans .

I bought a set last year. There are 2 types - one that's pop riveted on, and the others which I purchased. Be aware that the push on ones have a fixing clamp that's not very discrete!

MirrorShield

I’m extremely pleased with them.

They offer both good physical and visual protection, and are very easy to fit.

They come in either white or yellow.

They are about £200 a pair

The company make and supply for other brands and models of vans too.

They are made and supplied by Kuda UK Ltd

They are robust and have saved me on a couple of occasions, most notably this summer whilst in Cornwall.

PS- Re the internal visible edge, I would agree, they aren't the best finish. But the edges are barely visible when fitted. Most importantly for me is that they do a great job, whilst at the same time they don't detract from the look of the van.

This is probably a stupid question, but.. How do you remove it if it's pop riveted on?

The MirrorShield protectors aren't pop riveted, they're nuts and bolts. They're applied by small spanner and I believe hex key is what they're called. If you zoom in to image 2 it quite clearly shows what you're dealing with. Hope this helps.
