Hi all
I had to replace my mirrorguards - the proper ones not cheaper copies.
I took old ones of first and didn’t really pay mUch attention to how well they fitted.

Do these (drivers side) look like there on properly and far enough - I covered them in fairy liquid and have posed as far as I can but not sure if they still need to be on further….

Thanks

Like you, I had mine on & off a few times, putting more Fair Liquid on them etc, but pushing as hard as I could, they ended up looking like yours so they should be OK.
All you need now is some reflective tape to stick on the fronts, lets other drivers see you stick out bits in the dark as they approach.
A good mate pointed that out to me, even supplied the tape.(y)

They look well fitted.

We had these mirror guards on our previous motorhome. A distracted delivery driver was our first strike (well, his van) and they worked as hoped.

The second strike was with another motorhome going around Loch Lomond. The main mirror housing and glass survived, but the indicator lens and mirror arm cover did not.

The repair was less than £40, which is far cheaper than a new mirror! They did have hairline crack after the second whack, but that’s ok. I’ll be getting them again (y)

You've done well getting them to fit as snuggly as that.

Now what you need is a pair of "Vanears" they go on easily and make the mirrorguards more visible.
