This is something I have been meaning to try and sort out for a while but at the last service it was mentioned again.
So when the A-Class body is attached to the base vehicle chassis on the Mirage 5000 it seems that the original fuel filler pipe is extended to reach the new body shape and filler cap. What seems to be happening is that if I fill up the van then fuel is finding a way from the pipe (probably the join between the original and extender) and leaking into the engine bay.
I have tried to get round this in the short term by not filling up but a) that is only really a workaround and b) the fuel still seems to find a way out.
I know that there was an old mirage 5000 group around but I don't think that is functioning nowadays so was wondering if anyone on here is familiar with our m/h and can offer advice.
Thanks in Advance.
