All these recent posts about travel to Italy reminded me about this.

If your in or near northern Italy in June between the 13th and the 17th this might be of interest. 400 plus classic sports and touring cars 'racing' between several lovely italian towns and cities.

There is also a 'warm up' session in Lugano (Switzerland) on the 5th - 7th of May

Its been on my 'want to go' list for a few years but not made it yet..........

I stumbled across the build up to it in Bresica in 2018 by accident.
I'd heard of it before but didn't realise it started there. I was ready to change the planned holday route but OH wouldn't hear of it :(
The atmosphere was getting very lively and excited but I suspect it was about to get extremely busy and noisey, so we continued east as planned.

We are heading for Brescia for the build-up and start of the Mille Miglia and then scooting down to watch the cars passing through San Marino the next morning.

In 2010, I was lucky enough to be the support car spannering for a couple of my customers that were in the Mille Miglia that year in a car I restored for them..

I was trying to work out the best place to be based obviously Brescia would be good …but then when you say scoot down to San Marino surely you don’t mean literally scoot down on a scooter it’s over 300 km or have you got a Ducati or something ? I’ve only got a Honda Vision 125…..two up !

In the Mh, it's only about 4 and a half hours from where we are planning to park up in Brascia to the sosta near the cable car in San Marino.

Won’t the cars have beaten you to it and you’ll miss all the action ? Or will you lead them into San Marino in your MH

The Pau Classic Grand Prix is in May

The race is over 5 days and the first day finishes at Cervia-Milano Marittima where they overnight. The next morning the first cars set off at about 7am and should be reaching San Marino a little after 8am.

You sure it’s a 125? I thought they only made a Honda Vision 110.

Actually you’re right…always thought of it as a 125…probably my youth…had a Yamaha Fizzy (FS1e) 50cc…dreamed of a Suzuki 125…or even a 250cc ….not sure if you could get 110’s in those days….

We have a Vision 110 that we take in the garage with us. Good little bike that does 55mph two up

I’ve had it up to 56mph 😥. Yep. Ours goes in the garage or on the pull out….couldn’t do without it…
