Hi
I am thinking about a pair of the Milenco mirror protectors for 2023 Fiat Ducato based camper.
How do I know which ones to order, short or long arm?
The website doesn’t seem to give any information on how to differentiate.
Thanks in advance

Well our coach built was long arm and our pvc is short arm. Don’t know if that is definitive or not.

Long-arm is 170mm from the mirror to the end of the arm……

Milenco mirror protectors will save you money until they get hit, then they will cost you money, whereas MirrorGuards will cost you money until they get hit and then they will save you money. (y)

Mirror guards work for me as well. Once hit you only have to clean the other persons paint off ;)

Mirrorguards on ours - still got the battles around from a bout with a Cornish Council Van, I'm still trying to buff out the mark but he had to put his mirror in a bag.🙂

I don’t know why Milenco mirror protectors have such a poor reputation on this site.

I have them on my motorhome. Last year in France, my passenger door mirror collided with a 4x4 pick-up truck door mirror heading in the opposite direction. We were both doing about 55mph so a significant impact for the door mirrors.

My door mirror suffered a broken bulb and a cracked indicator lens (which is not covered by the Milenco protector). The pick-up truck’s door mirror was wrecked.

Based on that experience, I’m very happy to recommend the Milenco mirror protectors.

Mirrorguard for me too, superior construction. The owner will also sell you a single cover if needed. I replaced one after 5 years when a crack got too bad, yes, Spanish white van man originally.

Mine threaten to fall off on a fairly regular basis, particularly in hot weather when the glue melts. I can’t recall which brand I brought, but I get around to it I’m going to secure with a screw into the mirror housing

I agree - perfectly happy with the Milenco mirror protectors. Like the method of attachment also.

Worked fine in anger when a French white van hit our mirror. 👍
