I'm going to see an e bike, a Haibike, that's done 1250miles, how do the batteries stand up to this mileage? Does it matter ?
Bike condition is good.

My treks Rails done 2500 miles in 2 years no issue with the battery. Unless the batteries been abused, charged in very cold conditions should be good.

I've a spare Trek Powerfly with I've 4K on it. Our Rail 7's have around 4K on each and all have been faultless.

If you get it have a good look at the charging and battery care instructions. There is usually a recommended range of charge for storage. Such as 50% or 60%. - 80%. Some also recommend a complete discharge after so many charging cycles. Ours have done about 4000 miles and we have stuck to the handbook advice. We have noticed no deterioration in performance. Very similar routine with to using an EV.

Battery condition is more to do with how it's been used rather than mileage and you can't possibly know that so if you feel it's a good sale, go for it.
