Been quite impressed with Heuwai mifi on payg whilst in the moho just doing emails and web browsing.
Does anyone also use at home as an alternative to paying separately for broadband ?

Yes we do. Couldn't see the point of paying standing charge for 12 months when we are away from home for at least 6 months over the year.

Was trying to downgrade my Sky bill and they offer a 25Gb landline package. I hit 400Gb per month rising to 700+. Teenage sons - love 'em.

Not for you then.
I been trying to reduce virgin bill and this maybe an option but just been reminded I sometimes like to watch iplayer and youtube so maybe not so clear cut ?

Lots of contracts about now with unlimited data, I have been with o2 for years now, it's the only one that works at home, but I rang them a week or so ago about leaving , anyway the long and the short of it , I came away with unlimited everything for £10 a month, but I suppose from my last bills they know I ain't going to use a fraction of it.
Only problem is , it doesn't work abroad then they charge £1.99 a day for almost unlimited.
