The Rutx11 is the same as 12, just 1 modem. It’s a cat6 and has the same wifi connection.

Thanks for posting the video, gives me pause for thought regarding swapping out my E5577, however I wouldn’t need to wait for the 5G version it will be years if it all before I could get 5G speeds in the rural areas I visit with the van. On my visits into Peterborough which has 5G I can’t say that I was overwhelmed by the speedtest differences either.

I’m of the same mind and agree that reception in rural areas may be unaffected and therefore no benefit in having a 5G router but ………….

as I’m in no great hurry, my cunning plan is to wait and see if the release of a 5G version of the X12 has an adverse effect on the price of the existing 4G models. I’ll probably be totally wrong, but it’s worth a gamble.

I did wonder about that fact after I posted, there maybe some 4G RUTX going cheap when the 5G comes along.
