Thankful for any/all thoughts and experiential suggestions & recommendations please. We're looking to do a road trip in July over 2 weeks or so taking in parts of the Southern Republic and ending in Northern Ireland. New one for us over that way. Considering out via Fishguard and return via Holyhead.

So any good locations, Aires, must-visit places? All ideas welcome, thank you

Also tips or tricks anyone's found for getting discounts on the ferry prices etc?

A fortnight isn't that long so I'd suggest you expect to do only half or so of the entire Republic and Northern Ireland, and even then you would be selective.

If you want remote rugged coasts then I found the Western and Northern coasts more interesting. Potentially from south Wales into Rosslaire you could cut across to say Galway and into Connemara and pick up the Wild Atlantic Way to go clockwise from there.
