Our rooflight rattles during high wind. Quite unnerving at times when you know it shouldn't come open, but strength of wind and rattle, makes you wonder.

Photos show bit where it fits into "socket".
There is movement when closed.

Can it be tightened in any way?

Hi, I think your problem may be simply that the black rubber seal is missing from your roof light. If you compare your photo to the one posted by Manic, you should be able to notice the difference. I only know this because I have the exact same problem on one of mine!

Thanks, I can see the difference, I'll check the other rooflight to see if it has one. I don't however remember there being a rubber seal on any of the roof lights, we'll see. Cheers Smudger55.
