This plate is on a retention so it’s a easy transfer you can do online.

Doesn't your van have to be an 07 plate or later to have this. I would love it but my van is an 06 reg, you can make a van look older but not younger :(

The vehicle needs to registered on or after 2007

I put WFZ 8708 on mine when I bought it in April otherwise I would be tempted!

I'll av it... if only to get rid of XXX CJV... Cathy n' Johns Van (Her choosing).. my current cross to bare!!... lol .. long story that some on here have seen..... the theads....

What do I need to do?... apart from paying you some greenbacks?

Edit:... just been on Reg site.. and can get JT60 FUN for 250...

So I will decline my offer to purchase... soz.. :)

Edit Edit:... my initials being JT... and 60 being the year i appeared... ;)

I chose PP02 EYE and had a fair choice of 03-04 all the way up to 08 on my New in 2015 van.

this would be good though,

If you had FUN 4U on the back of your Frankia Griff, folk would think it was a knocking shop.

You mean you don't want t go for JC60 FUN to keep Cathy happy :D

I am interested in how you now transfer the number to Brian, I have a few company plates all on retention in company name, will be selling but wondered how you now add what used to be called a nominee, can that all be done online? Or can the new buyer actually put in on a vehicle without that change?

Is this the information you are looking for David? It says "give" but also includes "sell".

Just took personal plate of Smart CarToad on line
new V5 back in 3 days
Transferred to new owner on line (immediate transfer)
destroy old and new log books simples
Super efficient auto system.
But then again take DVSA out of the equation and it's bound to be:doh::rofl::rofl:

I just wanted a different plate to the normal when I originally bought it a couple of years ago without spending a silly amount ... the plate itself is easy to remember and only cost me £30 + the £80 assignment fee, I was also considering getting the next number up (WFZ 8709) which was available at the time for the old Smart but sold it so never bothered.

I was also considering calling the camper 'Mr Blobby' ... as 8708 is a bit like blob!

It'll keeps people guessing how old the camper is and what the reg is! :D

When pointed out your thought process
makes purfect sense
So long as it makes sense to the owner
thats all thats required, thats why there called personalised plates(y)

Is that the Irish in you? (Ulster plate).

Mine as most of you know is MI00 LHB, the MI for Mi short for the boss (Mijhan) the rest is obvious and it was only one of the cheap DVLA ones.
