I am looking for a metal polishing/finishing company in the South Lincolnshire area (alloy) can any one on here suggest any where.
I have looked on the net but every where is miles away I even thought of doing it myself but it is such a messy job and I only want some forks done.

You say "forks" is that as in knife and or is that as in motorcycle.

The only cutlery polishing people I have seen are down near Brands Hatch, they have a CL:LOL:

HA HA No Martin
Down in Lincolnshire they have no need of that type of fork as we tend to use fingers:) It was the latter as in motorcycle.

I know one in Sheffield if you want to post them to me, although I've just done pair of YPVS ones on my polishing machine - filthy job.:mask:

Just phoned a firm in Peterbough and they quoted £120 satin polish and more if I want mirror polish maybe I am a bit out of touch ?

@Kool Kroozer. When we met, I am sure told me that's his profession.. Maybe could help or point in the right direction.

£120 ya being took for a ride mate an a long one at that, I do forks for £40, mirror/satin or matt finish, in fact got a pair to do off an old LC next week.

That seams more what I was thinking but then thought I had missed something thanks for the heads up.

Shame your so far away Steve, if they are stripped down to the outer body (without the stantion) you could post em (less than £10) returned back in less than a week, but it may be best to find someone local, who are able to do bike stuff and keeping the shape around the lugs etc. Not many Metal Polishing places around anymore unfortunatley.

I may just get them weighed compleat can you pm a post code if your willing to do them I will get a cost for sending them.

I always did my own polishing (in the shed of dread) until the great Ken Nicholls (NIKE) said to me "I've never know a polisher live to a great age" so I took that on board & farm it out now.
