Having had paroxysmal atrial fibrillation for 12-13 years I have now been put on a waiting list for a cardiac catheter ablation. In three weeks we are due to be setting off for a few weeks in Spain. Portugal and France. Problem is that most insurance companies, including Caravan and motorhome club, are saying sorry but we can't cover that. Does anyone have something similar and managed to get a reasonable quote to cover the problem. Thanks in advance.

As long as your doctor says you are fit to travel use eurotunnel insurance they cover all medical conditions without asking any questions

Good luck in finding someone to insure you as you have been recognised as requiring treatment .

My doctor told me as a result of a blood test that I have chronic lymphocytic leukaemia which is a dormant blood disease. I found nobody would cover me but I eventually found Staysure where I got an annual policy for myself and my wife for just over £800 per annum restricted to Europe only
