Posted back in May seeking information regarding technical support for my MCL Supernova Motorhome, but with limited response. Still having problems, particularly with the slide out. I would appreciate information on technical servicing organisations who may have knowledge of experience with this motorhome.

As your vehicle was bespoke, it may be unique. If you can find any contact with original builders, that may be your only sure way to get help. As with most motorhomes, the majority of components would be made in large quantities, while bespoke parts will need to be made to order.

Not many places in UK do motorhomes with slide out. You could try RS Motorhomes, they have an excellent workshop manager, Adam, with heaps of knowledge in the industry. If anyone can fix it, he can.

They are always incredibly busy so don't expect to be able to get it fixed immediately

Not many MCL's about, they went pop years ago, Is it MAN chassis? An RV dealer is probably the best place to seek help on slideout. Whats the issue?

Ive actually been in one, I believe they were the only Motorhome manufactured in Wales. I looked at one to buy in Blackpool before we bought the present Mh but the owner turned out to be too dificult to deal with

I remember being impressed with the build quality but not whether it had a slideout or not.

I had a couple of factory tours and "partied" in one once when a "friend" had one built. Excellent build quality but hyper customised per client. Not sure why they went bust though because they charged enough. Was sad when I heard they had gone pop.

Thank you for these helpful replies. Pictures below.
So far I have had the technician from Empire RV look at it and he wasn't able to help. I have also discussed it with Adam from RS Motorhomes who is not familiar with this slide out system. He seems very knowledgeable but don't want a 600 mile round trip if he can't fix it.
I suspect the drive motors for the slide out are under the floor but don't want to lift the floor if there are easier ways to get at them.
I am hoping that someone from the MCL team is in the motorhome servicing and repair business and my post is an attempt to find that "someone".
The motorhome is built on an MAN chassis and interestingly I bought it from a gentleman in Blackpool. I have found the availability of spares to be ok, albeit it invariably from Germany with a bit of a wait.
So, if you know that "someone" please let me know.

Yes, I'm sure that there are two 24V motors. On the American RV systems there is a synchronizing unit which ensures the two motors drive the slide out square. Not sure that mine has such a unit. Currently I can hear the for'd motor engaging and driving but not sure about the aft motor. Could also be something jammed in the slide track.

ABM RV can completely dismantle and refurbish a slide out and have seen him lift them out completely on a forklift. ADI and Cassie.
Weymouth based but their knowledge is excellent.
