MCE Motorcycle insurance

Just spotted that MCE motorcycle insurance has gone into administration which may effect riders on here who have their Motorcycles insured with them or at least cover needs to be checked out.

MCE is just a broker so all insurance policies should be fine

I won't miss them, they mastered the rip off premium rate phone number and declined card payment scam where you are forced to ring them to resolve if getting your quote via a comparison site. They then organise direct so they don't have to pay the site commission.

They have now given notice that as from Jan 2`st all policies through them will be cancelled
Looks like they were not paying the insurance companies who have got fed up and called time on their shenanigans

Mines been cancelled from Jan 31st very annoying.

The email said we would refunded the remaining term by FSCS.

Not the case sadly. Actually, I examined my policy to see who it was insured with or underwritten by. Cannot see any other company mentioned other than MCE.
