Hi, all.
My daughter has just purchased a Mc Louis lagon fiat motorhome (2008)
The underneath appears to be in really good condition with no visible rust except for the spreader plate (i assume these are holding the body to the chassis)
Are these plates replaceable?

I assume they are the plates under the van that attach body to chassis. If so should be able to replace them, but would think they could just be treated in place to stop further corrosion.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the replies.
My daughter has just purchased this motorhome and hasn't actually picked it up yet from the dealer. He seems to be a genuine guy and the van is undergoing prep and service at the moment. I crawled under the van on the forecourt and was surprised how clean and rust free the underneath was, except for the spreader plates (they hold the motorhome body to the chassis). I assume that most motorhomes are built this way except for monocoque units.
My reason for asking the forum is to be one step ahead of the dealer just in case.
The dealer is 20 miles away so can't get photos.
I'll update next week
Thanks
