Maybe silly question - Minibus seat rails/Rock & Roll bed

Hi,

First I'd like to say hello to everyone. I am new to the forum.

I was looking at maybe converting a minibus (Caddy/Boxer ish in size). I'd like a rock & roll bed in there, but don't fancy the drilling into the floor bit. Is there a way of maybe utilizing the existing rails that the old minibus seats were attached to?

cant see why not i doubt they will be the right width but you could add a box section to achieve the right width

I know nothing about self builds... Welcome anyway..

However my first thought.. Is it a R&R with seatbelts built in ? If it is that could effect the way it need to be mounted to meet legal requirements..
