We have just booked a meeting at Lotherton Hall nr Leeds its a Steam Engine Rally for the May Day Weekend ( Early May Bank hol). Anybody else fancy please pm me for more details and I will post further details when I get home from chester on Mon. I cannot find anything about this event. Did find a reference to Nottingham for this weekend.

Perhaps Leed City Council who own Lotherton Hall dont know what event they're supposed to be hosting as the their ' what's on ' page does'nt list the event. See below.

Could they mean the Bank holiday family activities for May w/e 7th the steam rally oh:oh:oh:

Must admit it is not very good advertising for the steam rally, it also mentions Bank holiday activities again for June too

Alas we are unable to attend either date

sorry I have been so long getting back to you, but I missed your posting.

Yes the event is going ahead, and we have got our tickets. We will be arriving Sat am & hopefully flying a Fun Flag ( which a fellow member has kindly agreed to sell to me as they are in short supply)

We are local like yourselves, and with the price of diesel i feel we need to stay close to home for all good reasons.
