Hello. My first ever post. My recent to me motorhome has the most uncomfortable mattress i have ever laid on. The van is 10 years old so has had a fair bit of use and the mattress has a depression where i like to sleep. My question is, does anyone know where i can get a new one made preferably in the south or south west of England and what should i expect to pay ?

We got a foam mattress from Ikea , we had to cut one edge to match our Hymer drop down bed.
These mattresses aren’t that expensive, around £125 I think

Check out customsizebeds.co.uk.
Their website is very good, cost is reasonable, and delivery charge OK.
Got mine for our pvc from them.
Went for the 8" deep , size and shape we needed.
In hindsight would have got 6" and the size we needed made up from 2 "singles" and a matters topper.
This would make life a lot easier if you need to take the mattress out for any reason.
Believe me it does happen.

We got one from them.
I went for a 10" deep one.
The gas struts struggle with it now but otherwise it's very comfortable.
Standard hardness.
They do firm as well.
I sent the dimensions of my French bed. Fitted perfectly.
Comes compressed so you can get it through your hab door.
Then it 'explodes' ☺️

Try JONIC they specialise in mh beds and bedding. Very helpful family firm. Just bought 2 sets of custom cut top sheets. They were at the NEC. https://jonic-uk.co.uk/
