Don’t do what my wife has done, bought a rug from Lidl and guess what colour it is.? I have refused to put it in the motorhome so it’s still say at home in her car.

Look for 'awning carpet' preferably 'breathable awning carpet' - ordinary unbreathable groundsheet kills the grass underneath it very quickly and even a couple of days turns it yellow so when you move on, leaves the site looking orrible to anyone else arriving and choosing a pitch, hardly likely to be popular with the site owner/manager either!

I have a Fiamma outside rug/carpet and think it is very good not sure how much it cost but was perfectly reasonable for the price

We have the Moroccan matting. It folds up into a bag like we have for the windscreen and when we’re travelling, it is stored between the bikes on the rack. No problem and it’s now in its 6th year of use. A great buy.

we use these. Helps packing items in garage. We usually take about six and put them down by doorway. Easy to dry, easy to clean and have many uses. One use they don’t have for us is the gym! We keep our groundsheet for when we go to France etc for dusty pitches.
