Does anyone who has used Marquise recently have a view on the service, follow up and value for money?
 
Not recently as I would never use them again, even though they are my most local dealer, after they ripped me off in 2016.

I wouldn’t use them again. Warranty work for a simple job took over a year and five visits to complete. A six hour return journey each time. Every time I turned up the wrong parts were there and on one occasion after sitting looking at my vehicle on the ramp for five hours they told me they didn’t have the right part. It was a standard piece of heating pipe. Prices for simple hab checks etc are astonishing. They offered to do a ‘winter check’ on my vehicle….. drain water, check coolant etc. £150 plus vat….. The lady was offended when I burst out laughing.
Even a written complaint was basically ignored. Refused to return phone calls. Tried to make an appointment to speak to manager and they wouldnt make an appointment. Awful.

Bad reviews are not allowed in open threads. It encourages drive by assasinations, Yes I've heard they are awful. I had a bad experience with them in 1978, I would never use them again. If you have a bad experience with a company, put it in reviews.

I think it depends very much on the branch. If it’s a Benimar read the FB forums, most are happy. My van has been back to Marquis (Durham)several times and after initial teething problems they have been fine, collecting and returning van or compensating me with diesel reimbursement from Scotland, a free awning and service.

Last time the van was in I was adamant it had water ingress(it had previously) Marquis took out the water tank at my insistence but no water ingress was found by them or me and I really did scrutinise it, they never charged me for time wasting😁

Durham branch are helpful 👍
