Marks on roof

Hi everyone, I need some advice please.
I was cleaning my 6 year old motorhome when I found what look like scratches on various parts of the fiberglass roof, could anyone advise on what these are please and how to treat. TIA

Have solar panels been fitted? Or has it had a cover on the roof weighted down with some rough blocks?

Has someone been a bit keen with the polish and polished away the gel coat exposing the fibres? check out the picture in this thread.

Hi guys. Bit of a long story so I’ll try keep it brief

Young family, purchased our first motorhome Feb 2020. It’s a 2005 Kentucky camp estro 4 on a Ford. We shopped around a purchased from a big dealer in Hull. Happy to pay the extra for some reassurance. We saved hard and I sold my motorbike to pay for it

on collection I thought it looked a little dull. I thought it needs a good detail and wax and it would come up, and that a big dealer just wouldn’t do that on something they’d consider cheap

Have you had the van from new, when did you buy it, is it the first time you have inspected the roof?

The gel coat is cracking, probably because the coating was too thin or not enough hands.
